Sigma Alpha Rho Celebrates 107th Anniversary with Unforgettable Event
On Sunday, June 30, 2024, Sigma Alpha Rho Fraternity celebrated its 107th Anniversary at the Cherry Hill Jewish Community Center in Cherry Hill, NJ. The event was a resounding success, attended by 140 Brothers who gathered to reminisce about the past, reconnect with old friends, and forge new friendships.
A highlight of the evening was the introduction of our new chapter, the Phi Chapter. The new brothers were welcomed with a standing ovation, symbolizing our deep appreciation for their commitment to Sigma Alpha Rho. The Phi brothers expressed their excitement and honor to be part of such a momentous occasion. Before this event, they had only heard stories about our alumni affairs and past exploits. Now, they had the opportunity to witness firsthand the strong connection, fraternalism, and brotherhood that define our fraternity. Brother Zev Rose, Past Supreme Exalted Ruler 1960-61 of the Epsilon Chapter, and Brother Neil Berman, International Honorary Active 1969 of the Alpha Iota Chapter, provided the invocation and the Hamotzi prayer.
The celebration was a testament to the remarkable spirit of Sigma Alpha Rho, and we are optimistic that the Phi Chapter will inspire the development of additional chapters in the future.
Amid the festivities, many brothers inquired about the plans for our 110th Anniversary celebration. We are pleased to announce that the answer is a resounding YES. Plans for this milestone event will soon be set into motion, and we look forward to another memorable gathering.
Stay tuned for more details as we embark on the journey to our 110th Anniversary celebration. Long live Sigma Alpha Rho! Give All for the Recompense is Great!
